Crispy Onion Rings

Making an evening snack is sometimes challenging for me. It has to be new, tasty and which everyone will love to eat. Last month we went to a steak house and as a starter, we ordered onion rings. It is simple but tasty and the good thing is my kid loves it. So I find out recipes about onion rings. Ingredients to make this recipe is very simple, available in every kitchen pantry. The method of making onion ring is easy but tricky, though I gave a try.

Watching a family movie together with homemade snacks and hot coffee is a pleasant moment for me.  It makes me feel that after all stress, anxiety, and ups and downs, Life is. still beautiful, every moment has its own meaning. 




Ingredients

1 big yellow onion( cut into sliced rings)

1 and 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour

1 egg

2 tsp black pepper powder                                   

1 tsp chat masala

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt or as needed

1 cup milk

2 cups panko bread crumbs( any bread crumb will do)
vegetable oil for frying,


Method


In a bowl add flour, baking powder, black pepper powder, salt, and chat masala. Mix it well

Dip onion rings into the mixture until they are well coated. Keep aside.

Add egg and milk into the mixture and mix well to make a smooth batter.

Heat oil in a frying pan.

Spread bread crumbs in a shallow stray.

Dip the floured rings into the flour batter to coat evenly then place rings into the bread crumbs.

Deep fry those rings until golden brown. Remove to a paper towel to drain.

Crispy onion rings are ready to eat.
