Happy Deepavali:

Preparation time- 10 minutes
Cooking time - 30 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup green peas paste
1 cup milk
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp semolina /suji
2 tbsp milk powder
4 tbsp ghee/ clarified butter
1 pinch cardamom powder
1 bay leaf
Method:-
1. In a bowl add milk, milk powder, and suji/ semolina, mix it well. Keep aside.
2. In a frying pan heat 4 tbsp of ghee, add bay leaf and green peas paste. Fry until the raw smell of green peas is gone. Add milk powder paste. Mix well then add sugar. In very low flame cook green peas stirring in between until it is not sticky when touched. Add cardamom powder and take out the bay leaf.
3. Rub ghee on a flat dish. Now pour the green peas mixture on it. Smear hands with ghee and press green peas mixture to form a square shape. Now with a clean knife just make a rough cut. Let it cool then place it in the freezer for 2 hours. Take out and cut into the small square shapes and garnish with chopped cashews.
